Xbox Live Marketplace replaced with Xbox Games Store - CNET
Microsoft has officially changed the name of its Xbox Live Marketplace.
The company on Friday changed its website to reflect the platform's new name -- Xbox Games Store. The launch comes a few of months before Microsoft launches its new console, the Xbox One.
The Xbox Games Store complements the Xbox Music Store and Xbox Video Store.
Xbox Live Marketplace was the platform's name for eight years. Upon logging into the store, Xbox gamers can browse all titles, and either purchase or download them to their console.
The Xbox One will go on sale in November for $499.99. The console's new features will include: voice command, cloud integration, universal gestures and the familiar Xbox Live home screen.
